Who am I?
I'm not a drunk, I'm just a man who gets drunk, and when I get drunk, the universe pukes up in my heart and I have to spew it all out somewhere. So here it is. Nothing on this page is ever penned whilst sober. Nothing on this page is ever penned. I drink in the pubs of Fleet Street and the bars of Hoxton. When I drink I'm a better person. I find that alcohol, taken in sufficient quantities, brings about all the effects of being shitfaced, sobbing like a child, half in misery and half elation. Drinking isn't admirable, or tragic. It's just auto-open heart surgery.
Now a toast. To life, the soul-destroying heart-breaking masterpiece.
